For the past 3 weeks we’ve been walking through the story of the hours leading up to Jesus’ resurrection – incidents that were predicted by the prophet Isaiah, 700 years before they happened.
Isaiah predicted that the Messiah would
- be betrayed by friends,
- remain silent while accused,
- and be counted among criminals.
Today we’re going to see Him become sheep-like, as Isaiah says “He was led like a lamb to the slaughter.”
