Think back to when you were a kid and you may have heard this old saying, as kids teased each other “sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can never hurt me.” It rhymes, but we all know that no greater lie has ever been told! Every person here has been hurt by words. They have power – to tear down and the power to build up. Today we will be digging in to see what God’s Word has to say about the power of words.
