As we step into the first Sunday of 2026, I want to thank God for the joy we experienced last week as we celebrated the birth of Jesus and the incredible gift we have in Him. Christmas reminds us that God came near, Emmanuel God with us, and that gift continues to impact how we live our lives every day!
As many people begin the year with resolutions and fresh goals, we are beginning a new sermon series on Discipleship. Jesus doesn’t simply call us to believe, He calls us to follow Him. He invites us into a deep, intentional relationship with Him. In the weeks ahead, we will learn and be challenged to take His yoke, to serve like Jesus served, and to make disciples of Jesus Christ. My prayer is that 2026 would be a year of spiritual growth and obedience for each of us. We don't want it to be filled with just more activities, but deeper faith. I invite you to join us on this journey as we grow in our discipleship, to follow Jesus with all our hearts, and live on mission together.
Let’s make this a year where we know Jesus more and make Jesus known!
With gratitude and expectation,
Pastor Michael Rodriguez
